In the right and left sections of the upper jaw bone, there are gaps called üs sinus ”. These cavities can be enlarged by air pressure effect, especially after tooth losses. This may prevent implantation in the toothless areas under the sinus. To overcome this difficulty, a special surgical procedure called sinus lift, sinus lift, sinus grafting should be applied to decrease the volume of the sinuses and increase the bone volume. Sinus lift is an operation performed frequently by jaw surgeons when necessary before implant surgery. The clinician's knowledge and experience play a major role in success in such cases.

Sinus lifting operations are usually performed under local anesthesia, but can also be performed under sedation or general anesthesia. After the bone formation is completed following the operation, routine implant applications are initiated. In some cases, depending on the amount of bone thickness at the base of the sinus, sinus lifting and implant can be applied in the same session.

ALVEOL BONE OGMENTATION

sinüs liftingAfter tooth extraction, one of the biggest problems encountered in the long term is the melting of the jaw bones. If the treatment of tooth loss is to be removed by implant applications, bone height and volume become more important. Implant application requires the presence of bone of a certain height and thickness. Decreases in bone volume as a result of early tooth loss or intense gingivitis can be repaired by bone repairs. These repairs can be performed with bone from patients' own bodies, as well as inorganic or synthetic materials. One of the most important advances in jaw surgery is the ease, speed and safety of these applications.
