As it is known, the last teeth are twenty years old (3rd) teeth. They usually start between 17 and 25 years of age. If these teeth continue in the correct position and do not damage the surrounding tissues, there is no harm in keeping the teeth in place. However, in a very small number of patients, there is usually enough space in the mouth for 20-year-old teeth to survive, and these teeth remain embedded in the bone.

What are the conditions that require the extraction of twenty-year-old teeth?

1. Permanent pain: Pain can be reflected to the ear and temple by applying pressure to neighboring teeth or causing infection.

2. Recurrent perichoronitis: A partially eradicated twenty-year-old female tooth may cause infection focus in the surrounding gum. This may lead to bad breath, pain, edema and limited opening of the jaw.

3. Caries: The decay of these teeth may result in pain and infection.

4. Abscess: A serious infection may result in abscesses.

5. Cysts related to this tooth: Twenty-year-old female and the surrounding follicle may cause cyst formation in this part of the jaw.

7. Damage to surrounding tissues: Twenty-year-old teeth may damage the tooth in front of the tooth while riding, as well as soft tissue damage, especially the cheek tissue.

8. Orthodontic reasons: Twenty-year teeth can be re-perplexed on the corrected teeth by orthodontic treatment.

Complications During Shooting:

There is a normal risk of bleeding, edema and infection in these teeth. In particular, nerve damage may occur as a result of lower 20-year-old tooth extraction. In 10-12% of the cases, there may be a numbness of several days and in 1% of the cases a few weeks. Although very rarely, this numbness can be permanent. Inattention and inexperience may increase the risk of complications during extraction of these teeth.

DOG TEETH (Kanin)

It is one of the most frequently buried teeth after the age of twenty teeth.

In many patients, the canine tooth does not fall and the permanent canine tooth is buried. In such a case, the following treatment options may be applied.

- Restoration of canine tooth by pulling bridge or implant

- Pulling the canine where it should be. This operation, which is called reimplantation, can be performed if it is removed without damaging the impacted tooth.

- Orthodontic treatment with the help of the apparatus placed on this tooth with the tooth to continue in its place
