Like other parts of the body, benign or malignant tumors can occur in the mouth and jaws. The soft tissues inside the mouth may contain cigarettes, alcohol, etc. Tumors may occur in the mouth and jaws as a result of alteration of the substances with irritative effects or as a result of the metamorphosis of tooth and tooth forming structures. The bone section of the tumor, its development to the environment, if any, and possible spreading pathways are surgically removed. Generally, after these procedures, a reconstruction is performed instead of the tissues taken in order not to cause a loss of quality of life of the patient. Treatment is performed surgically with local or general anesthesia according to the structure and size of the tumor. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy may also be required for the treatment of malignant tumors.
